Digital green tokens launched

By Maryanne Scott (Asda Clydebank)
March 31, 2021

Green Token Giving – our in-store customer vote which donates more than £1 million to charities, schools and groups across the UK each year – is back for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

With the vote unable to take place as usual in stores, we are trialling a new website in selected stores including Asda Clydebank, where customers can choose between three fantastic local good causes. The store's wonderful community champion Maryanne has shortlisted three fantastic local good causes – Scottish Families Affected by Drugs and Alcohol, Men Matter Scotland and Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels – to take part in the first online vote. The good cause with the most votes will receive £500, with the two runners-up both receiving £200. Vote for your favourite between March 29 and April 24 here: https://bit.ly/2QGALH5
