A big thank you to all the pupils St Malachy’s Primary School in Drummullan who took part in our Community Christmas Card project.
I had been working with the school as part of our Better Starts programme and I asked if the pupils would like to write a Christmas card to a local nursing home. The students chose Drapersfield Nursing Home and they wrote a card to each resident. Kelly Anne, from the nursing home, visited the school to collect the cards and thanked the students for their kind gesture. As a thank you to the students I also presented the nursing home on behalf of our store with box of goodies for the residents' Christmas party. 🌲🎅💚
