Katie is the Maternity Matron for the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital Maternity Unit. She came into our store to receive a donation of baby essentials and pamper packs for the Maternity Ward – it's amazing how many young girls come in to have babies with no family support and we wanted to do our bit to help.
Katie told us that the new mums will really appreciate these supplies and thanked us so much for thinking of them during these times. Katie's daughter also thought it was very kind of Asda to help the young mums when her mum explained what the things in the trolley were for.
