What an incredible afternoon I had being presented with my British Empire Medal at Shrewsbury castle by Anna Turner, the Lord Lieutenant of Shropshire, on behalf of her The Queen.
The afternoon was very emotional and extremely overwhelming . I still can't believe I was nominated. If feels so unreal as things like this don't happen to me!
