I had the pleasure of joining, from left, Caragh Malloy, Alanna Reid and Emma from Dumbarton Academy who received 10 new Dell laptops and tech bundles as part of our initiative to provide over 7,000 laptops to schools across the UK to help tackle digital exclusion.

Although children have now returned to the classrooms there is still a need for technology to support education activities inside the classroom, homework tasks, learning during the school holidays and to help schools future proof their home learning capabilities. We formed a partnership with technology provider Dell at the start of the year to invest over £2 million so that every Asda store in the UK could donate at least 10 laptops to a local school. Liam, acting deputy head, said: "As we return to full time education, these laptops will help continue the work to break down digital barriers and support young people to achieve success in their learning.”
