One of the Dundee Give and Take boxes we have in our community was unfortunately set alight by someone.
All the food inside had to be thrown out and the box itself cleaned out as much as possible. Luckily there wasn't much damage to the box itself. I got in touch with Gemma who looks after these boxes to say that we would be able to replace all the damaged food and a little extra for her stores. We had to get products that the smell of the burnt wood would not be able to penetrate. These boxes are a lifeline to many families. I'm so glad that we could help.
