Grant for St Columbas Sheltered Housing

Many of our regular customers are from our local St Columbas sheltered housing, so I got in touch with their warden, Aileen, to see if we could support the residents during the pandemic. Aileen was delighted and we set about filling in the application form for toiletries as well as puzzle books and biscuits. The grant was called Supporting Communities, and it was approved by the Asda Foundation. The award was for £320 which we turned into little boredom relieving packs for the residents. I presented the goodies to Aileen and Sheila at the store and they were delighted.
