Box Full Of Rainbows was set up to spread some smiles throughout our local community of deserving key workers. Initially the idea was for Tracie Owen and her daughter to provide three boxes to local care homes. This exploded and took off beyond their wildest dreams!

To date they have sent over 1000 boxes with over 1000 still on their list. The rainbow boxes are designed to lift spirits and provide a much deserved morale boost. They consist of various items ranging from easy to eat foods and energy sustaining snacks to more pampering items such as skincare, bath soaks, chocolates and more. Each box also contains colourings, motivational quotes and notes of thanks from local children and the community. They have grown to a large team consisting of purely volunteers and run regular activities on their Facebook group for all to get involved.

Tracie Owen, the group's founder, told us: "We can not thank businesses such as Asda enough for their support and generosity. It's acts of kindness like theirs that allow us to continue and reach as many people as we possibly can! Thank you."

We're very proud to have been able to support this excellent local cause with a donation of 30 goodie bags and items towards their boxes such as biscuits, pot noodles, bubble bath, deodorant, dry shampoo, wipes, chocolate and sweets.
