Congratulations and thank you to our home shopping driver Wendy who's celebrating working for more than 25 years with Asda.
Wendy, who says she loves working for Asda, started at our Elgin store in January 1992 in the old premises across the road, but she left when her husband, George, was posted away with the RAF. She then rejoined Asda in 1995 at Telford, before moving to our Dundee Milton store for seven years and finally returning to Elgin. She spent all this time on checkouts until home shopping started in Elgin about 13 years ago, and then she became a driver. One time when out making deliveries it began snowing in Tomintoul, but not in Elgin, so she made a snowman and brought it back to the store! Thank you Wendy for you dedication.
