Our caring home delivery driver Dan has made sure one of his regular elderly customers never feels alone during the lockdown and has told him to ring him on his mobile whenever he needs a chat.
Dan, who's recently joined the team at Asda Fareham, delivered some shopping to the customer who was clearly grateful of some company so Dan, safely social-distancing himself, spent a couple of minutes having a chat. When delivering to the customer again, it was clear to Dan that he wanted to talk, but Dan knew he had to continue with his delivery so gave the customer his own mobile phone number and told him to call him if he ever needed someone to talk to. Well done Dan – we think you're a star.
