Here’s another trolley full of food and essential items about to find its way to North Bristol Foodbank thanks to our generous customers.
During April, the food bank saw a 272% increase in the number of people needing its services compared with the same period last year. They supported 2,190 people with emergency food, 1,022 of whom were children. In April 2019, they supported 589 people, of whom 241 were children. Thank you so much to everyone who's supporting the food bank. Asda are donating more than £20m to food charities FareShare and The Trussell Trust over three years through our Fight Hunger Create Change programme.
