Back in February we gave a donation of snack items and arts and crafts to Stepping Stones Playgroup to help them prepare for getting back to full capacity after the lockdown.
Playgroup manager Gail sent these photos of the children making homemade playdough, using the paint sets and enjoying imaginative play with the pasta in the kitchen.
She had these lovely words to say: "It really means a lot to us not only does it help us to be included in the community, it saves me time to shop for these basics which are used daily it also helps us have less visits to the shops to reduce our contact and to help keep us all safe, as well as help us be able to spend our budget on other items for playgroup not only the practical cleaning etc, but resources like books and toys to support children during the pandemic and support their emotional and social well being as well as treats to make this time fun and memorable for the correct reasons. The donations are so much more than items, they are a gift which are far wider and bigger than you imagine, so thank you so much from all at Stepping Stones Playgroup."
