I was delighted to make up a couple of small hampers to help local acapella group 'One Acchord' with their appeal for Ukraine.
One member, Bartje who came to receive the hampers, said afterwards: "I am writing to say thank you for the hampers you made for our raffle. We received many complements on how pretty they looked and they were very well received by the winners. The concert last Saturday was a great success. Between donations from the Chorus and your kind contribution, we made £476 just with the raffle. Adding the ticket sales and very generous donations by the public, we raised a total of £1,758.33. I have sent a cheque to Ukraine Appeal today."
This is a fantastic amount raised ladies, well done! Asda is proud and so happy to have helped this worthy cause!
