Here I am with Giles, chairman of the Friends of Guys Marsh Prison, which is raising money to buy toiletries for those leaving prison.
Many of those leaving the prison have no home to go to and seek sheltered accommodation, but some of them end up sleeping rough. The charity supplies them with a backpack which holds two weeks worth of toiletries, a notebook, pen and torch to help them through the few first weeks. I was pleased to help them out with toiletries, water bottles and notepads to go towards some of their backpacks.
