Activities buddy retires from Fernbrook Lodge, Gillingham 

It is with great sadness that I present Julia with some flowers and chocolates. I have volunteered for Julia on a Friday afternoon pre covid for nearly eight years. We have kept in contact during lockdowns with donations and letters to the residents of the care home as I miss being able to go and facilitate some out reach work with them.

It is with great sadness that the last time I will have helped Julia will have been in March before lockdown. I have learnt many things from her wealth of experience in dealing with vulnerable people with dementia. I wish her all the best and a long and happy retirement 💐
