I've been thinking of doing this for well over a year, but I finally took the plunge and had my head shaved to raise money for our Tickled Pink breast cancer charity appeal.
This Sunday is Cancer Survivors' Day and I have four colleagues who have fought breast cancer and another two that I know of who've fought other cancers. I have also done this in remembrance of my husband's first wife who had breast cancer and for someone I know who is currently fighting her battle. Tickled Pink, which is in its 25th year, raises funds for Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel.
