Here are some of the amazing donations I have been able to do in my community champion role since being appointed in February.
Recently we have donated to the Glenrothes Foodbank, Leslie Community Pantry, Homestart Glenrothes, Collydean Community Centre, Glenrothes High School and Rimbelton Primary. We also helped a local family by supplying them with some homeware after they lost everything in a devastating house fire. We have also donated rest and recovery packages along with much-needed surgical masks to Lommond Court Care home, Balfarg Care Home, Preston House Care Home and Napier House care home. Lastly we donated rest and recovery packages to Glenrothes Hospital, Glenrothes Community Fire Station and Glenrothes Police Station. As you can see all were delighted to receive support from Asda. My first few months as a community champion have been fantastic knowing we can help support our local community during these strange and difficult times.
