Brenda from the Samaritans local office in Jesmond collected a donation from our store today to support all the volunteers who've been manning their phone lines 24 hours a day in order to support people in need all the way through the pandemic.
During lockdown this charity and other charities have seen an increase in demand due to people struggling with their mental health and being unable to get out.
