Here I am with Joanne who is an amazing lady. She works full time and also runs the charity Streetworx.
The charity visit the streets of Newcastle city centre on a Saturday evening and early on a Sunday morning giving refreshments and essentials to the homeless. I went out with the volunteers and helped to give out food and essentials, hot drinks, hats and gloves. Joanne knows them all by name and is such a caring person. Our store has supported this charity with Asda Foundation funding, green token giving and donations of goods. It's a much-needed service to those in need. Well done to Joanne and everyone who volunteers with her.
