The Next Step Group is part of a three-phase program which will cover mental health, drink and drugs and budgeting to help get people back on their feet.
The group meets on a Wednesday at St Mary’s Church in the High Street and offers a meal and advice to rough sleepers to help better their situation. Kevin, from Caritas, and Gary, a volunteer for the group, came to the store to collect cleaning products and water and we had the opportunity to talk about how Asda can help with the project in the future.
