The School Uniform Project run at Jacobs Well Care Centre in Toronto Place is proving to be a real life line to families this year – and with many families struggling financially due to Covid-19, the centre has seen an increase in the number of families seeking help.
As with many of their projects, there is no referral needed, no registry of recipients and no questions asked. If you are in need, then they we will try to help. They're currently operating a booking system to view the uniform to comply with social distancing and there is no set price for any uniform – just a donation to the project. People can donate old uniforms that are still in good condition, please contact the centre if you can help.
It was a pleasure to help the project with a donation from our school uniform range. With the increased budget we've had over the past few months thanks to the Asda Foundation and Asda, we've been able to help so many more groups in our community.
