Being a coastal town is so great and e are lucky to also have such amazing green open spaces.
These are getting a lot of use at the moment with more people getting out to enjoy the weather and get a healthy dose of fresh air. However with more people comes more litter. There are many groups that arrange litter picks and they have been looking at how they can manage these with social distancing measures in place. After a quick catch up I was delighted to be able to supply them with some cleaning supplies so that they can clean the litter picks between volunteers and some bottles of water. It’s great that our groups , like the Friends of Stokes Bay, are still able to be active and make a difference in the community.
