Congratulations to two wonderful ladies who were honoured with British Empire Medals in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
This means so much to me as one of the reasons I was honoured with my BEM earlier this year was for the work that I do with these amazing women. Lin, from Team Scrubbers, has co-ordinated a fabulous team to make over 1,800 sets of scrubs and thousands of masks for our local community. Kerry with her wonderful team at Acts of Kindness have been fighting hunger ensuring that no family goes hungry. I couldn’t be proud of these to inspiring ladies and it’s a pleasure to count myself as one of the team. What a pleasure to have such wonderful charity partnership. Congratulations to you both and to all your volunteers you represent.
