I was delighted to present an Asda Foundation grant for £2,000 to Jubilee Church in Grantham to help their warm hub with the increased cost of energy bills.
Their rooms have become so popular with the local community that they are having to open up extra space which requires heating too. Pat Whittaker, Funding Co-ordinator for Jubilee Church, was thrilled to receive the cheque, saying that it will make sure that local people have space to keep warm and socialise throughout the winter. The church has supported the local community for many years now. Pictured are Pat, Ian and some of the service users of the facilities at Jubilee Church.
