Colleagues at our Greenhithe store are getting behind our fabulous Click & Collect colleague Lek Rolls who is running 100km throughout March for our Tickled Pink charity partner Breast Cancer Now.
Lek, who normally does 15,000 steps a day during her shift as a picker, is then having to cover at least 3km as part of the Breast Cancer Now 100km March Challenge. Keen runner Lek, who's worked at the store for 10 years, said: "My best friend Hannah has recently beaten breast cancer and I wanted to so something to honour her as she has always been so supportive to me. Some days I will run 10km, 11km or 13km and then have a few rest days as long as I cover the 100km by the end of the month." The store's community champion Bridget said: "Colleagues here are all getting behind Lek who is super fit and sponsoring her for this challenge."
