Christmas donation for World War 2 veterans 

Our local World War 2 veterans will be getting a Christmas surprise in the form of a hamper from Project 71, a local group that supports our veterans, helping with everything from mobility scooters to regular telephone calls. Lorie from the group took me around the store and chose the items she needed for the hampers. We donated individual Christmas cakes, diaries, puzzle books and chocolates. It really will be a lovely surprise as most of them are really beginning to feel the effects of lockdown and are missing the monthly Project 71 lunch dates.
