Pupils from Sylvester Primary Academy were delighted with the Dell laptops and tech bundles the school received as part of our initiative to provide over 7,000 laptops to schools across the UK to help tackle digital exclusion.
Whilst children have returned to the classrooms, there is still a need for technology to support education activities inside the classroom, homework tasks, learning during the school holidays and to help schools future proof their home learning capabilities. We formed a partnership with technology provider Dell at the start of the year to invest over £2 million so that every Asda store in the UK could donate at least 10 laptops to a local school. The school said: "They will go a long way in helping break down digital barriers and help with any education remotely now and in the future, the Hessian bags were a lovely touch too."
