We proudly welcomed SERV 'The Bloodrunners' into our store for an awareness and fundraising event.
This dedicated team of volunteers provide an essential service to our local NHS hospitals, air ambulance services, donated human milk banks, hospices and vulnerable patients by transporting free of charge urgently needed blood products, donated human milk and medicine, 24 hours a day every day. SERV are a charitable organisation and have no paid staff so rely on donations from members of the public, local businesses and charitable grants to keep their service going. Our customers and colleagues enjoyed hearing about the services they provide, their dedication to the cause and as an added bonus were invited to get a feel for the motorbikes they use to transport supplies. Thank you to all our customers for supporting such a great cause.
