Here I am with Carl from Hope Long Eaton, presenting a donation of fruit, veg, eggs and bread from the store to go into 50 food parcels to be handed out to families in the area so they can continue to feed children throughout the school holidays and no one will go without.
This is part of a £100,000 donation across the country from Asda and the Asda Foundation to provide a little extra help this half term and is on top of our existing Fight Hunger Create Change programme, Healthy Holidays scheme and the £5m donated to help FareShare and The Trussell Trust support more people affected by the pandemic.
