We've handed over six trollies of toy donations to Home-Start Erewash. This year our toy drive has been overwhelming with the generosity and kindness shown by our colleagues and customers.
Here I am with Bren handing over the goods which we've had to quarantine for 72 hours before handing them over so they're safe to give out. Bren and her team now have the busy task of being "Father Christmas" and delivering all these donations to families in Erewash before the big day.
Bren and myself want to say a really big thank you to the Long Eaton and surrounding communities, Asda colleagues and everyone that has donated this year. This will really make Christmas special for families that otherwise might have gone without. The generosity of our community always amazes me more each year with our toy and food drives. I hope you all have a safe and amazing Christmas.
