Myself and Caroline from our Patchway store visited Wick C of E Primary School to give a Food Rangers presentation.
We talked to the children about saving our planet, food waste, storage and recycling. We gave the children some cereals, bread and cakes to teach them all about sell by, use by and best before dates, and the children of year 3 class all became fantastic food rangers .
After the food rangers session we made some cress egg heads, which the children enjoyed decorating. They're looking forward to seeing the cress grow over the next few weeks at school.
