This is one of the reasons why I love my job at Asda – a huge £550 shop funded by the the Asda Foundation for Disability Families Of Middleton.
I started shopping at 7am while it was nice and quiet and managed to finish just before we opened! Phew! The shop included items to create a hygiene pack, a fun pack for the children and items to make food parcels. Chrissy from the group works tirelessly on a voluntary basis to provide much-needed support and activities to families within our local community who have family members with a disability.
