£1,992 Green Spaces Grant
I visited the Fernwood site of Chuter Ede Primary School to meet some of the pupils there.
Back in December, The Association of Chuter Ede received £1,992 as part of our Run For All Green Spaces grant, which will be split between both the Fernwood and Balderton school sites. The funds will be used to develop fruit, vegetable and herb gardens. This will allow children to discover both the health benefits of growing your own food, but also the mental health benefits of gardening. The funding will also be used to develop a small play area with a sandpit and chalkboards for the children to use.
