A sad farewell

I was invited to attend a funeral of a lovely lady who was an inspiration. Francis was the first elderly lady that I had the pleasure of applying a grant for when I started my role as Community champion 3 1/2yrs ago. Many times we would chat over a cuppa at the various groups she attended...bowling,  older voices and creative cafes. I also called her a few times over Covid to  check she was ok or needed anything. Francis will be sorely missed for her personality, her stories and smiles.
