International Nurses Day

As it is International Nurses Day it only seemed apt that a donation of Hot Chocoate 'Hug in a mug' was given to the hero nurses at our local St Mary's Hospital. Mandy Blackler Business Operations Manager for Corporate Nursing came to store to collect the donation. Along side the Hugs I also sent 14 crocheted blankets for the dementia ward that I had personally made. I taught myself to crochet last Easter and during the past year it is the only thing that has managed to keep me levelled and sane. I would go home pick up the hook and it would completely relax me. It was a pleasure to hand them all over to Mandy who was absolutely thrilled to receive them.
