Lakenham Primary School thrilled with laptop donation

These happy pupils at Lakenham Primary School were thrilled with the 10 Dell laptops, cases, headphones and digital bundles they received as part of Asda's initiative to provide over 7,000 laptops to schools across the UK to help tackle digital exclusion.

Whilst children are now returning to the classrooms, there is still a need for technology to support education activities inside the classroom, homework tasks, learning during the school holidays and to help schools future proof their home learning capabilities. We formed a partnership with technology provider Dell at the start of the year to invest over £2 million so that every Asda store in the UK could donate at least 10 laptops to a local school. Headteacher Mrs Williams said: "We would like to say a big thank you to Asda Norwich Hall Road for their wonderful donation of laptops, headphones and games. Asda have been such an amazing support over the last year, from donating food to the Lakenham Larder, our local food bank, to these laptops. Thank you."
