Emma from the Holbrooks Community Care Association contacted me to say that their communal garden had been vandalised and asked if our store could help in any way. She'd already managed to recruit some volunteers to help clean up, so we donated some snacks and refreshments to help keep them going.
This group has been vital throughout the pandemic as they've been delivering cooked food, food parcels, hygiene products and toys and craft items to families, the elderly and disabled people throughout the community.
