Plymouth Refuge and Safe Houses are part of Plymouth Domestic Abuse Services. They support high risk victims of domestic abuse and their children who have had to leave their homes just to be safe.
Currently, they have women and children living in the refuge and they are also providing support to families in safe houses throughout the city. When families go to the refuge, many are experiencing significant financial hardship. They help them set up benefits however this is often a lengthy process which leaves their clients without an income for up to six weeks. Receiving our donation of goods is Darren.
