Laptops donated to Tor Bridge Primary School

Here are pupils from Tor Bridge Primary School trying out the Dell laptops and tech bundles the school received as part of our initiative to provide over 7,000 laptops to schools across the UK to help tackle digital exclusion.

While children returned to the classrooms ahead of the Easter holiday, there is still a need for technology to support education activities inside the classroom, homework tasks, learning during the school holidays and to help schools future proof their home learning capabilities. We formed a partnership with technology provider Dell at the start of the year to invest over £2 million so that every Asda store in the UK could donate at least 10 laptops to a local school. Mr Meredith, from the school, said: "We can't thank Asda and Dell enough for choosing our school to receive these laptops. They will go a long way in helping to break down digital barriers and help with any education remotely now and in the future."
