This week I had little help from my colleagues with my community role.
First up is the lovely Nicole, who met with Gloria, a nursing assistant who works in the Silverwood Ward within the Bluestone Unit at Craigavon Area Hospital. Gloria emailed saying she was looking for some flowers for the four wards – and as it's a mental health hospital and everyone has been isolated inside for such a long time, we thought a little fresh blossom might help lift everyone's spirits.
My second community helper is the lovely Charlotte-Anne who met with Colette from Drumcree Community Trust. They needed some supplies to keep them going, including crafts for the kids, fruit, jelly and soup – just things that can make life so much easier for parents as the kids are now going crazy at home after being off for so long.
Thank you very much to Nicole and Charlotte-Anne for helping out!
