Here's the Asda Wombles made up of myself and community champions Michaela (Asda Queslett), Denise (Minworth), Bella (Perry Barr), Trish (Darlaston) and Ellen (Cape Hill) who cleaned up the area around our Small Heath store.
We collected 17 bags of rubbish and a mop handle and picked up masses of crisp packets and plastic bags which covered the grass verge. A big thank you to all the ladies for their support. The Asda Wombles will be picking litter by the Perry Barr store next. Thank you to all our customers who take their litter home with them.
