I had a lovely day with MHA Communities Southampton for their Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebration event. I presented them with a cheque for £545 from the Asda Foundation and helped carrying out arts and crafts. Heidi, the community champion from Asda Fareham, came along to help.
The group have a new furry friend as a volunteer who helps with their health and wellbeing, bringing elderly people together. We also had the pleasure of meeting the new Mayor of Southampton. A great day all round!
