Green tokens are back

By Emma Riley (Asda St Austell)
April 06, 2021

Green Token Giving – our customer vote which donates more than £1 million to charities, schools and groups across the UK each year – is back for the first time since the start of the pandemic.

With the vote unable to take place as usual in stores, we're trialling a new website in selected stores including Asda St Austell, where customers can choose between three fantastic local good causes. The store's community champion Emma has shortlisted three fantastic local good causes –  St Austell Revival Together (Start Clothing Bank), St Austell Foodbank and Cornwall Blood Bikes to take part in the first online vote between March 29 and April 25. The good cause with the most votes will receive £500, with the two runners-up both receiving £200. Vote for your favourite here: https://bit.ly/2QGALH5
