I've worked very closely with Michaela Johnston over the last couple of years, supporting activities and events at the Pinetrees Community Centre. Since March the centre has been closed and has only recently started to reintroduce some activities for the community. It was lovely to hear that under government guidelines they'd be able to open the dementia cafe for a limited amount of people and carers to attend again and on behalf of Asda it was my pleasure to donate craft items and a few treats to say welcome back.
The group is a real lifeline for local dementia sufferers and their families.
