It was my pleasure to present Swindon Scrapstore with £750 of goods paid for with an Asda Foundation grant.
Swindon Scrapstore is a local non for profit group that diverts redundant reusable materials from local companies and makes them available to schools and community groups. It also provides volunteering opportunities to disadvantaged young people and adults. During the pandemic the group had to close but through donations of food the group continued to support families that at the best of times struggle to make ends meet with food parcels delivered to homes in our community
