Congratulations and thank you to our wonderful colleague Linda Moody who's celebrating 50 years' service with Asda.
Linda, who's one of our longest-serving colleagues at any of our stores, joined within two days of leaving school in 1970 – and half a century later she's still going from strength to strength! She said: "It's been such a big part of my life working here. I left school aged 15 on the Friday and started work on the Monday as what was then Wilcos. It then became Gateway before Asda took it over 30 years ago. It's just a nice friendly store here and the colleagues who I work with are lovely and we all work as a team." The store's community champion Cathryn said: "We had a little celebration for Linda in store as it's such a massive achievement. She's such a lovely, caring lady. She's always great with the customers and the colleagues here all love her."
