I've been hosting a food drive for our local food banks, encouraging customers if they can to pick up an extra item when shopping to donate to Thornaby Food Bank and the Salvation Project.
I know a lot of customers are in a rush, so I made up some grab and go bags. Customers could take a bag to the checkout, scan it, pay for it and leave the donation with me – that way they didn't need to go back into store to shop.
