Croftfoot Afterschool Care were delighted to come into store to collect food and essential paid for by a grant from the Asda Foundation.
The group's main purpose is to provide a safe nurturing and caring environment which helps to promote each child's development. Their focus is to provide an environment where children can experience different play and learning opportunities and able to express themselves freely. They work in partnership with the parents to ensure they are fully involved. During term time they operate 3pm till 6pm and school holidays and in-service days the open at 8am till 6pm. They provide snack each day and operate a healthy eating policy where the children are offered fresh fruit daily .The children themselves make up monthly snack menu which gives a daily choice of cold meat sandwiches, cheese strings, cheese triangles, blocked cheese, wraps, bread sticks and yogurts.
