Well done to pharmacy colleague Jane from our Trafford Park store who's been praised by the local hospital for advising a customer to go straight to A&E after examining a swollen insect bite on his arm which looked infected.
Doctors say her quick intervention stopped the infection from spreading and possibility developing into septicaemia. The gentlemen is now recovering in hospital after being treated with antibiotics and his daughter popped into store to thank Jane and bring her a bunch of flowers. The store's community champion Catharine said: "Everyone at Trafford Park is so proud of Jane and what she did."
