Pupils at Bellefield C.E Primary School were delighted with the 10 Dell laptops, cases, headphones and digital bundles they received as part of Asda's initiative to provide over 7,000 laptops to schools across the UK to help tackle digital exclusion.
Whilst children are now returning to the classrooms, there is still a need for technology to support education activities inside the classroom, homework tasks, learning during the school holidays and to help schools future proof their home learning capabilities. We formed a partnership with technology provider Dell at the start of the year to invest over £2 million so that every Asda store in the UK could donate at least 10 laptops to a local school. Acting headteacher Mr Rees said: “We can’t thank Asda and Dell enough for choosing our school to receive these laptops. They will go a long way in helping to break down digital barriers and help with any education remotely now and in the future.” Read more here: https://bit.ly/391G6PL
